‘It’s Not Easy Being Green’. ‘It’s Not Easy Being Clean’. The reality of our world is that power rules. This power is vested in green but not the green we wish for. This is the green of money, the green of cash, the green of dough, the green of greed.
‘It’s Not Easy Being Green’. ‘It’s Not Easy Being Clean’. The reality of power is that it flows. It flows to where the money is. Those that have they money, have the power; those that have the power, have the money. Everyone else is broke(n).
‘It’s Not Easy Being Green’. ‘It’s Not Easy Being Clean’. The reality of money is that you can’t live without it. It can buy you everything. It can buy you bread and it can buy you butter. It can even buy you political will.
‘It’s Not Easy Being Green’. ‘It’s Not Easy Being Clean’. The reality of will is that it can be disguised. You tell us who you are, and tell us what you want, and tell us where we can be. Gleaning your true colours costs us a lot of energy.
‘It’s Not Easy Being Green’. ‘It’s Not Easy Being Clean’. The reality of energy is that it runs the world. It powers you through bread and butter. It lights your home through electricity. Elementarily it is sourced from a world hidden deep beneath your feet.
‘It’s Not Easy Being Green’. ‘It’s Not Easy Being Clean’. The reality of our world is that power rules. This power is vested in green but not the green we wish for. This is the green of money, the green of cash, the green of dough, the green of greed.
